Centro Camillo Bussolati |
The Centre is one of the research and training centres set up by LIUC. It operates nationally but with a particular vocation to understand the characteristics and satisfy the training needs and develop knowledge in the Varese-Como area as well as the areas of Novara, Vercelli Brescia and Bergamo.
Industry in all these areas is extremely active and diversified which deserves careful research to identify further potential economic development in an increasingly competitive environment.
The Centre, named after Professor Camillo Bussolati, LIUC’s first Rector, has its foundation in basic research on topics and tools of business management.
Objectives
The C.C.B. was set up to carry out research and offer training programs for small and medium sized enterprises.
The research projects aim to consolidate the links between the University and the local business community, to understand the dynamics that determine the success or failure of companies, to develop management tools for such companies and to offer opportunities for information and training.
The creation of observatories to monitor the state of the art of the main phenomena in management and competitivity will take on great importance.
