From Milano Malpensa Airport
Arriving at Malpensa airport Terminal 1 you will need to take the “Malpensa Express” train (from the arrivals hall take the escalator one floor down).
If you arrive at Terminal 2 you need to move to Terminal 1. To move between Malpensa 1 and Malpensa 2, there is a free shuttle-bus service in operation 24 hours a day, with departures every 7 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night (from 10:45 p.m. to 5:15 a.m.).
Trains from Malpensa leave every 30 minutes (departures from MXP at 26 and 43 minutes past the hour) towards Milano Centrale (do not take trains for Milano Cadorna, they do not stop in Castellanza).
Castellanza is the 3rd stop after Ferno-Lonate Pozzolo and Busto Arsizio FN.
The journey takes 12 minutes.

From Milano Linate Airport
The Linate Airport is around 2 hours from Castellanza by public transport
Arriving at Linate you will need to take the bus to Milano Stazione Centrale (departures every 30 minutes, on-board ticketing).

From Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport
The Orio al Serio Airport is located in the city of Bergamo, around 2h30 from Castellanza.
Arriving at Orio al Serio they will need to take the bus to Milano Centrale.

Once in Milano Centrale, follow the instructions below to reach Castellanza station.
From Milano Central Station (Stazione Centrale)
Taking the train towards ‘Malpensa Airport’; Castellanza is the 5th stop. The train leaves once an hour with no changes, takes approx 40 minutes.

From Milano Cadorna Station
Cadorna Station is reachable by the Red (1) and the Green (2) metropolitan lines and by the Trenord railways.
From Cadorna they take the Novara train to Castellanza (5th stop - Milano Nord Domodossola, Milano Bovisa, Saronno, Rescaldina, Castellanza).

From Castellanza Station to the University
The Castellanza train station has changed location: it is now between Via Morelli and Via Kennedy. The station in Piazza XXV Aprile is closed.
A free shuttle service is available from Monday to Saturday. The shuttle stops at the University (Stop - Università LIUC). Check the timetable at this link: http://my.liuc.it/messaggi/orarinavetta.pdf
If you sopt at Piazza Castegnate head northwest to Piazza Soldini (there is a bar on the corner), turn left on Piazza Soldini passing a bridge and go up the stairs; the yellow building with the green gate is LIUC main entrance.
From Milan
Castellanza has its own motorway exit on Motorway A8 Milano-Laghi. You proceed on the Motorway A8 for 18km and take the exit CASTELLANZA. You will go through two roundabouts on Via Saronnese.
Then proceed on via Saronno, extension of via Saronnese, and take a sharp right immediately and go straight on until you come to a junction. (You may also park in the public car park here and take the steps opposite up to the main entrance.) Turn right again and you will see the University car park on the left. The University Administration Buildings are on the upper level and there is an underpass from the car park that connects to the main site.
From Milano Malpensa Airport
Castellanza has its own motorway exit on Motorway A8 Milano-Laghi. To reach the Motorway, you follow the Strada Statale 336 (SS336) for 10 km then proceed on the Motorway A8 for 18km and take the exit CASTELLANZA. You will go through two roundabouts on Via Saronnese and on via Saronno, extension of via Saronnese, and take a sharp right immediately and go straight on until you come to a junction. (You may also park in the public car park here and take the steps opposite up to the main entrance.) Turn right again and you will see the University car park on the left.
