The Interdisciplinary Unit for Sustainable Economy is the first Italian interdisciplinary research team on sustainable economy. The Unit was established in 2000 as a special program of Anthropology and Economics within Cattaneo University by Prof. Dipak R. Pant, his research collaborators and some former students.
The Unit’s network includes professionals from other disciplines and business. The Unit is set to develop as an institution of excellence concerned with eco2-innovation (new economic strategies that are ecologically sound and socially compatible).
The Unit is engaged in providing strategic advisory support to governments, industries and NGOs in the field of economic, environmental and social sustainability, in Italy as well as abroad.
